BLE smart ID cards
A card in a pocket marks the student present as the batch begins. No queue, no roll call.

A camera at the door confirms the room against the register, and flags the mismatch rather than the student.

It writes to the same record
A card tap, a camera confirmation and a manually marked register all land in one attendance record. There is no second system to reconcile, and no screen where the two disagree.
That also means hardware is removable. Take the cameras out and attendance carries on being marked by hand, with the history intact.
