What we process
Account details for owners, staff, teachers, students, and guardians; academic and operational records such as attendance, fees, exams, assignments, and announcements; and technical logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
Why we process it
To provide the CampusOS product you signed up for — running your campus operations, enabling role-appropriate access, sending notifications you configure, and protecting accounts against abuse.
Isolation between institutes
Each institute’s data is isolated at the database level. One tenant cannot query another’s students, fees, or staff. See Security for technical controls around this.
Who can see what
Access is role-based. Parents see their linked children; teachers see the batches and academic tools they’re assigned; staff and owners see operational data according to permissions you control.
Communications
When you send announcements or reminders, CampusOS uses the channels you enable (such as email, SMS, or WhatsApp integrations) to deliver messages to the recipients you choose. You control content and audience.
Retention & deletion
We retain data for as long as your institute account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Contact us if you need an export or account closure for your institute.
